Do you have a travel-loving Dad? Well then, this post is for you. With Father’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to do a travel-related Dad post, and what better than a gift guide? I did some extensive research on today’s hottest products for the travel-loving Dad, which I will list below! So, if you’re stuck on what to get Dad, maybe this post can help you out.

01. A Great Pair of Earphones

In today’s world, earphones are basically a necessity for long or short term travel. There are some great ones on the market, that’s for sure, but my Dad is a big fan of the Bose brand. So, I recommend the Bose QuietControl 30 Wireless Earphones. These are great for noise-canceling, without the heavy, sometimes uncomfortable fit of bulky headphones. Say good-bye to crying babies on your seven hour flight, and hello to personal tunes, podcasts, videos, and audiobooks. If you’re interested in a more extensive overview of the product, I highly recommend checking out this article from The Wire Cutter.

02. A New, Improved, & Perfect Carry-On

Every travel-loving Dad needs the perfect carry-on. Something I know my Dad likes when he travels is something compact, convenient, and easy-to-use. Since my Dad also doesn’t travel a ton, a carry-on is essential for him, because most of his trips are short for business purposes. This also means everything he needs will be in his suitcase, so he needs to NOT stress about losing it. The A28 Check suitcase by Raden is known as a “smart” suitcase. It has a sleek, masculine finish, comes in a variety of colors, and is built to be lightweight but durable. Not to mention, it comes with a proximity sensor to let Dad know where the bag always is, a handle with a visible scale to let Dad know if he can expect checked-bag overweight fees, and two USB ports. Plus, the suitcase was on of Oprah’s favorite things in 2016 deeming it “the smartest luggage ever”, and I mean, it’s Oprah. This is the suitcase for your Dad.

03. The Comfy (But Still Stylish) Sweater

I don’t know about your Dad, but my Dad likes to be comfortable on long trips on planes or in the car. Though the old sweatshirt is an easy go-to, it isn’t always practical if, for example, your Dad knows he has to meet business partners and employees soon after he makes it to his destination. I wanted to find an insanely comfortable sweater, easy to throw on and off, but didn’t take away from style. That’s when I came across Nadaam’s Genterre Merino Cashmere Quarter Zip. It’s a high quality sweater that can be worn over the top of clothing or layered. It comes in many different colors and is reasonably priced for the quality.

04. A Dependable, Really Cool Laptop

Sorry if you’re Dad is an Apple guy, because mine isn’t. Microsoft is the apple of his eye (see what I did there?), and though he has a Surface already, I know he’d probably enjoy the new and improved Surface Book by Microsoft. The laptop is as reliable as Microsoft, and as an avid Microsoft guru, I know my Dad would genuinely enjoy it. Though it’s definitely the priciest gift on this list, it’s also one of the greatest for the frequent traveler. As our world moves toward a more digital future, having a good laptop while on the road is essential, for many, to make a living.
